CHALLENGES

The client had agreed to manage the cable run themselves, but when our team arrived on-site to install the equipment, no wires had been deployed. This presented the crew with their first difficulty. On the day of the execution, the customer added the cabling to the scope; our team managed this well and deployed the cables first since moving forward required them.

The second difficulty we encountered as that the network rack that was offered was incompatible with the switches that we installed, necessitating the customer's arrangement and restraint. After all the equipment had been configured, our team discovered that the IP phones had not been activated. Although this was beyond the scope of our work, our remote technical team assisted our client in analyzing the problem and fixing it by calling their service provider on call.

Assessment and solution

Installation, testing, and configuration of Meraki security appliances, cloud-managed switches, racks, cable stacking, wireless access points, IP phones, document scanners, and desktops were tasked to PM2NET. The challenges faced by the client were successfully resolved by PM2NET through its first-rate Field Services and Advance Engineering services. In addition, PM2NET offered post-deployment services such as cutover assistance, written documentation of final deliverables and knowledge transfer, ongoing network management and monitoring for the network's hardware, and UP/Down monitoring for IP phones and scanners.

Despite the difficulties the team experienced, our field service engineers delivered smooth service with rapid and effective cabling and equipment installation, and our advanced service engineers stood out by offering on-site services and arranging meetings with the client directly.

advantages

The updated network architecture and additional security and communication tools will enhance the total wireless services for clients, staff, and visitors. The facility's operations were revolutionised by PM2NET's service. The organisation offered an upgrade to the networking environment through a cost-effective solution along with the best available options in the field and cutting-edge engineering. After the project was finished, the staff had no complaints. The client ultimately reaped significant advantages, including proper installation, configuration, and testing of the new gear.
