CHALLENGES

The Proposal was initially put forth in 2020 but implementation was postponed due to the extended lead time for the required hardware. In 2023 we received an update from our partner regarding the arrival of the hardware prompting us to resume efforts towards making this project a success. As an E-Rate project cost-effectiveness was a key consideration. Overcoming this challenge required careful evaluation and negotiation to ensure that the project remained within budget and aligned with the pricing objectives. However we encountered another obstacle during the execution phase. Communication between the field technicians and the advanced services engineer posed difficulties particularly when simultaneous installation work and real-time troubleshooting were required. This hindered the efficiency and efficacy of the overall installation process.

In order to address these challenges a proactive approach was adopted. Close collaboration and coordination among team members including field technicians advanced services engineers and site operators were emphasized. Regular meetings and updates were implemented to streamline communication channels and ensure timely resolution of installation issues.

Assessment and solution

PM2NET was tasked with the installation testing and configuration of Aruba Switches and Access points which included the organization of racks cable stacking and the seamless integration of hardware components. The client faced a number of challenges but with our unrivaled expertise in Field Services and Advance Engineering PM2NET successfully resolved these hurdles. To address any potential issues that may arise post-deployment we provided comprehensive post-deployment services including troubleshooting support the creation of detailed documentation of final deliverables and knowledge transfer to ensure the client's team could effectively manage and maintain the network hardware.

Throughout the project our dedicated team of field service engineers demonstrated exceptional competence delivering efficient and streamlined services for cabling and equipment installation.
