PVR CINEMAS

Upgraded their old online booking system to new one and with new modern progressive UX and UI. The tasks include:
1. Integration of their existing POS booking and backend Booking system APIs. 2. The app should be Progressive web app.
3. The UI and UX should be modern, with high speed user experience.
4. Manage shows and area/theatre/auditorium specific listing.
5. Ability to select show timings and show a "Seat layout" to be able to select and book seats.
6. Blocking of seats such that selected seats are not booked by others while payments are made.
7. Food and beverages offered and order able during checkout.
8. Coupon code management
9. Confirmation of booking on the app, sms and emails.
10. 16 types of payment options and payment gateways integrated. (Includes all wallets running in India and several types of Banking gateways)
11. Their loyalty program integration in checkout flow.

Technologies used: * Python Backend + API's in JAVA from their legacy system. * Angular JS 4 based frontend. * Service workers technology. * Bootstrap 4 + CSS3 for UI frameworks. * Progressive web app standards. * Typescript for writing Frontend layer (Cross compiled to Javascript). * Pre-render and AOT rendering for pages.
